What is Speed-Dating?
Speed-dating is the cool, safe and fast way to meet new people.
An equal number of men and women participate in the event. Through rotation, everyone gets to pair up and know each other through a series of “mini-dates” lasting for about 3 to 6 minutes. Once the date starts, you can talk about anything under the sun, except give your last name or exchange contact information. The date ends when you hear the bell ring, and right afterwards you move on to your next date.
At the end of the event, participants must submit their “score cards” to the organizers. The score card will contain the name of each person they went on a date to. The participants must select 5 people (from their score cards) whom they are willing to give their contact information to. When there is a match, the organizers will provide these contact information to both parties.
What is “Haste Makes Dates“?

The event is open for all single men and women aged 24 to 35 years old. Drinks and snacks will be provided for the participants.

Is there anything else I’ll need for the event?
Please remember to bring your cool and fun personality, be open-minded and have fun!
Philippine Science High School is the premiere high school in the Philippines, accepting only the best students from all over the country. The school is focused on honing its scholars in the fields of science and mathematics. Currently, there are nine PSHS campuses located all over the country. The main campus is located in Diliman, Quezon City, which holds the biggest number of students and accepts 240 freshmen every year.
Pisay 98 refers to the batch of students that graduated from the main campus on March 1998. They are the first batch that were admitted through the “national ranking” system. All Pisay 98 graduates passed the entrance exam for the University of the Philippines, the premiere college in the country.
Pisay 98 also founded the current PSHS student clubs SAGALA, a dance club, and Maskara (after Sindikatok’s demise), an acting/theater club. This only goes to show that Pisay 98 is also committed in providing the students a venue to develop their other skills in order to become more well-rounded individuals.
